Ophelia Hill

Mrs. Ophelia Sneed-Hill passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 86 years. She was born August 11, 1929 to Archie Sneed Sr. and Ella Ingram Sneed.
Mrs. Hill had been a resident of Saginaw, Michigan since 1951, and was a longtime member of the old Good Shepherd Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder James Shepard. She loved the Lord and kept her big Bible with pictures of family tucked between the pages. Mrs. Sneed-Hill was a woman of God with a wonderful personality. She was strong-willed, loving and generous to her family, but she spoke her mind. She would set anyone straight. Ms. Sneed-Hill was a childcare provider for years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Minister Bonnie M. Thomas and Charlene H. (Daniel) Still; grandchildren, Johnny (Trudy) Thomas Jr., Kansas City, Missouri, Monica (Donald) Lloyd, Indianapolis, Indiana, Avery (Franchelle) Thomas, Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Danielle N. Still, Saginaw, Michigan; great-grandchildren, Brianna M. Thomas, Detreanna S. Davis, Indianapolis, Indiana, Brielle Z.A. Still, Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hill Jr., parents, Archie Sneed Sr. and Ella Ingram Sneed, eight brothers, four sisters, and a son-in-law, Johnny L. Thomas Sr.
Visitation: Friday, September 25, 2015 - 9:00 until time of service.
