Neal Prince (Lansing)

August 19, 1942 — April 4, 2022

Mr. Neal Prince passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems Hospital in

1942, in Mobile, Alabama, to parents, William Jeffrey & Kate Prince, who proceeded him in death. He went to Blount High School and moved to Michigan at the early age of 18 with his wife, Dorothy Prince, who proceeds him in death, and their 4 beautiful children, Raymond Lee Prince, Alphonse (Karen) Prince, Sr., who proceeded him in death, Doris Marie Prince, and Ruth Ann Flantoil. Neal took custody of his kids when he and his wife separated.

Neal worked at General Motors for 37 years. He was a hard worker who took part in taking care of every child in his family. He was a very independent and strong-willed man. He was always there when we needed him. He absolutely loved his family, especially his grandbabies; but when the great grands arrived, it was over for everyone. Neal was a people person, to know him was to love him; he never met a stranger. He loved dressing up, going out to hang with his Elks family. He loved to laugh and dance. Neal was an avid golfer; golfing was his whole world. If you had any plans for Neal, you better make sure it didn’t interfere with his tee time.

Neal met the love of his life, Eunice Ray and her 5 children. He loved her kids like his own.

Neal will be forever loved and missed.

Neal’s memory shall forever be cherished by his children, Raymond Prince, Doris Prince, and Ruth Flantoil; 5 bonus children, James & Roosevelt Ray, Denise & Chandray Rich, and Joy Buell; grandchildren, Dijon McFadden, Rashawna Prince, Ta’Lisa Flantoil, Meca Barne, Michael Barnes, Kenyetta Flantoil, Alphonse Prince, Isaiah Newbold, Benjamin Prince, Abraham Prince, Moses Prince, Carolyn Prince, Asjanet Prince, Saniyah Hodge Prince, Raelyn Walker, Naiya Walker, Tia Walker, Isaiah Prince-Cain, and Jeremiah Prince-Cain; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Neal was the best father and Papa a family could ask for. He was our rock and now he is our angel. Until we meet again. Love you forever.
