Narciss Banks passed away Sunday, May 13, 2013 at her residence. Age 86 years. She was born May 1, 1927 in Metcalfe, Mississippi to Tim Tom and Gertrude Ellis Sr.
Narciss confessed her faith in Christ at Mt. Corum Missionary Baptist Church in Metcalfe, Mississippi under the leadership of Reverend P.S. Johnson. She worked for many years as an operator for Michigan Bell Telephone Company. Narciss loved crocheting, reading the bible and writing bible verses. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory a very special niece, Luebirtha Green of Greenville, Mississippi; four nieces, Rebecca (Cornelius) Hudson, Mary and Ruby Hardy, Lillie Stewart, all of Greenville, Mississippi; two nephews, Terry Sr. (Lavon) and David (Bonnie) Hardy, both of St. Louis, Missouri; many other relatives and friends including special friends Kathleen Lee, Barbara Williams and Celeste Wesley.
Narciss was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Ellis-Alexander, father, Tim tom Ellis Sr., one son, M.C. Mason, one sister, Mattie Hardy, one brother, Tim Tom Ellis Jr.
