Minnie Mary Peebles passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Marys Of Michigan Medical Center. Age 66 years. She was born August 14, 1945 in Eufaula, Alabama to Dave Sr. and Dividia Martin.
She attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Minnie was well known as a dedicated worker at Tonys Restaurant on Lapeer Street for many years. She loved to sew, knit and cook for her family. Minnie had a sweet spirit that would warm your heart. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be truly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Vidia Price, Eather Martin; four sons, Willie Peebles (Shanell Williams), James (Madinah) Peebles, Terry Peebles (Tamara Alexander), Louis Murry; four sisters, Eather Robinson, Viola Franklin, Emma Grace Blocker, Mattie Martin; eleven grandchildren, LaToyia Ford, Mary Lowe, Averen Price, La'Tasmer Powell, Charles Lowe, Chasity Peebles, James Peebles Jr., Lakeysha Martin, Marco Peebles, Tiera Peebles, Marchriona Mayo; six great-grandchildren, DonTerrius Ford, LaDarrious Ford, A'Vontae Lowe, Oniesty Little, Royal Adkins, Torrence Baker Jr.; two brothers, James and John Martin; one aunt, Mary Bella Goodman; many nieces, nephews other, relatives and friends including special friends Mary Johnson, Joann Pershay, Azzilee Haywood, Ernestine Patterson and Cynthia Cooper.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Willie Peebles; two sons, Charlie James Peebles, Benny Washington; parents, Dave Sr. and Dividia Martin; one sister, Dorthy Ligon; one brother, Dave Martin, Jr.; grandson, Cameron Price; mother and father-in-law, Ida Mae & T. L. Peebles.
