Mrs. Minnie Johnson departed her earthly life on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 93 years. She was born August 20, 1925 to the late Odessa Bowers and Buford Spike in Munford, Tennessee.
Minnie professed her hope in Christ at an early age at Union Hill Baptist Church. She was educated through the Tipton County School System. Minnie was united in holy matrimony to Johnny Johnson in 1957.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Marilyn Morgan of Lansing, Michigan; three sons, James Williams and Glenn Johnson of Lansing, Michigan, and Sam Williams of Memphis, Tennessee; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends who will truly and dearly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Johnson who died in July 1999; daughter, Princess Reed; sons, Larry Morgan and Lawrence Morgan.
