Mr. Michael Wayne Stuckey was born January 5, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Willis Sr. and Iola Williams Stuckey. He passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Age 59 years.
Michael was a student of Saginaw Public Schools. He became a construction worker and a cook. His hobbies included watching all sports and westerns on television. He loved blues and gospel music and enjoyed singing with the Rosehill Male Chorus.
Michael was a jovial person who loved to laugh and loved spending time with his family. He liked helping others, though he, himself was very independent, not wanting to ask for or receive help. His children and grandchildren were a source of great pride and joy. Michael will be remembered as a loyal and dependable son, father, grandfather, sibling, uncle and friend.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ezekiel Williams, Mamie Nelson, Champion (Mildred) Stuckey, and Evelyn Stuckey.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Willis Stuckey, Sr. and Iola Terry; daughter, Shermica Stuckey; son, Michael Stuckey, Jr.; grandchildren, Liam and Penelope Stuckey; sister, Evelyn (Pastor Murry) Culberson; brothers, Willis Jr. (Joyce) Stuckey, Donald Stuckey, Sr.; many nieces and nephews and special nephew, DeMarkus Stuckey, whom spent undevoted time with him; many aunts and uncles with special attention given to his uncle, Charles Williams, with which he once lived; many cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend, Joseph Kemp, Jr.
