Mr. Maurice Anthony Terry Yank passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 42 years. He was born May 26, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan to Edward A. Denham and Christine T. Terry-Land.
Maurice attended Saginaw High School and later obtained his GED. He was a former member of Faith Charity Pentecostal Church and later united with Next Generation Church under the leadership of Pastor Stanley Jones where he served faithfully on the usher board. Maurice was united in holy matrimony to Tara V. Jones on June 16, 2007 in Saginaw, Michigan. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. Maurice enjoyed barbequing, computer photography, creating cartoon animation and music, often showcasing his ability to DJ. Maurice will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tara V. Terry; three daughters, Kehonae and Jayla Hatter, MarShay Terry; four sons, Maurice, Trevell and Antwain Terry, Treohntae Hatter, Corey Harper, Tavares Pirtle; two grandchildren, Maurice Anthony Terry III, LaShonda Terry; parents, Edward A. Denham and Christine T. (James A.) Land; six sisters, Janell, Tina, Andrea, Shateem, Tesha and Erica; three brothers, Marcus T. (Latisha), Antwain and Eric; mother and father-in-law, Ethel Lee Robinson, Jessie Jones Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Ruby and Nukila Jones; five brothers-in-law, Pastor Stanley (Cekeshawin) Jones, Jessie (Barb) Jones Jr., Rodrick Jones, Anthony Jones and Jamisa Robinson; many other special relatives and friends.
Maurice was preceded in death by one daughter, Jermiesha J. Thomas; one brother, Anthony M. Harris; grandparents, Walter (LulaBell) Terry Sr., Willie J. Denham, Josephine Price; one aunt, Dorothy Price-Brown.
