Mashondra Deontanette Mannie Punkin of Westland, Michigan gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital. Age 42 years. She was born August 15, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan to Melvin Lewis Moore and Shirley Leada Jones.
Mashondra attended Ferris State University and went on to be employed at Heartland Healthcare Facilities for 15 years. Punkin enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling and cooking. She especially enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Punkin loved to have fun and laugh hard. Her smile and laughter will be celebrated and truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her memory will live on through her husband, Brian Mannie; three daughters and four sons, Sania Mikel Mannie, Brian Bryce Anthony Mannie, Breon, DVantrae and DAntrae Mannie, Irene and Brian Andrews; three grandchildren, MiKayla and Derrion Andrews, Nathaniel Mannie; her mother, Shirley Leada Jones; grandparents, Murphy and Geraldine Layton; two sisters, LaDonna Jones and LaKeisha Bodiford; four brothers, Christopher Jones, Navillus Hamilton, Richard Shelton and Gerard McMillion; thirteen nieces; ten nephews; six aunts, Sharon J. Hicks, Patricia Jones, Carolyn Pruitt, Demetra Layton, Tracey Jones and Drettice Layton; five uncles including her favorite uncle, Micheal Hicks, Coatis Anderson Jr., Earl Jones and Terry Pruitt; four sisters-in-law, Tammy Mannie-Erby, Naiomi Jones, Jackie and Katrina Mannie; two brothers-in-law, Brad and Lee Mannie; many other relatives and friends including her special friends, Kizzie Jenkins, Katoya McCarroll, Brandy Hines and Veronica Anderson.
Mashondra was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Moore, grandparents, Richard and Ethel Moore, one aunt, Linda Ditto, one uncle, Frankie Moore and mother-in-law, Irene Mannie.
