Mary Ann Kolbe passed away peacefully the morning of March 7, 2018 at Chesaning Nursing Center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born April 22, 1943 in Saginaw, to the late Rudolph and Elmira Koboldt. Mary will be remembered for being such an amazing, strong, stubborn yet goofy mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her children Matthew Kolbe, Kevin Kolbe, Jennifer Kolbe Wiles, and Heather Kolbe. She also leaves to cherish her memory 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren Zack, Kaitlyn, Spenser, Connor, Dylan, Griffin, Noah, Miranda, Keagan, Aden, Abigail, Hudson, and Aniyah. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Tara, son Michael; her siblings Butch, Kathy, and Gary.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life dinner at Trillium Banquet Center, 6415 State Street, Saginaw, Michigan, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
