Ms. Marie Ann Prescott departed this earthly life on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the age of 59 years. She was born March 18, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan to David and Blondell Prescott.
Marie was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1974 graduate of Saginaw High School and also attended Delta College. Marie was employed for several years at Dow Chemical Company. She was the most out-spoken, funny, down-to-earth and loving person anyone would ever meet. Marie was well known and loved by everyone whom crossed her path. She had a zest for life. Marie loved music and was always the life of the party. Marie loved her family, friends and purses. Her wonderful presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Tameka Prescott (Anthony Sanders) and Veronica (David) Bracey; one stepson, Dwinya Thompson Sr.; grandchildren, Anthony Sanders II, Andrea Sanders, Khayli Bracey and David Bracey Jr.; mother, Blondell Prescott; one sister, Venissa (Dennis) Perry; four brothers, David Prescott Jr., Steve James Prescott, Michael Dwayne Prescott and Randell Prescott; one niece, Keaira Monet Perry; three nephews, David Monroe, Deonta (Jaclyn) Prescott and Corey (Britney) Prescott; aunts, Barbara Jean Thomas, Emma Lois Joe, Vermell Davis ad Estelle MacMillian; two uncles, Jasper Melton and James (Thelma) Prescott; cousins, Carolyn (Anthony) Redeemer, JoAnn Pershay, Sharon Turner, Shonda Toole, Theresa Smith, Cynthia Turner and Thomas Davis; one sister-in-law, Jackie Prescott; many other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly including special friends, Pat Cotton, Elmer Swilley, Ella Frazier, Terri Samuel-Galaviz, Michelle Newsome and Pat Roby.
Marie was preceded in death by her father, David Prescott Sr. and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
