Ms. Luerene Brown, affectionately known as, "Rene", passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her residence. Age 55 years. She was born on June 23, 1961, in Bay City, Michigan to Albert and Luetisher Wilkins and Earlene (Sherman Bosco) Jiles.
Luerene loved playing Facebook games and spending time with her son, Jamar, who is lovingly called, "Duba", her fiance', Kevin, her precious grandchildren, her family members and friends. She loved cooking and passing along her recipes to her nieces. She loved looking at family photos, past and present.
Luerene enjoying fishing and her favorite color was red; she loved wearing her hats and she never forgot any of her family members birthday... she called everyone on their birthday to wish them a "Happy Birthday!" She was a strong link to the familys unity and she will be deeply missed by all.
Luerene leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Earlene (Sherman Bosco) Jiles of Bay City, Michigan; fiance', Kevin Gascoyne; son, Jamar Parker, Jr.; step-daughter, Anita Cope; four grandchildren, Alexis, A'mya, Jamar and Nevaeh Parker; four step-grandchildren, Cawayna Bond, Chanatra Bond, Oshawanna Smith and Latriece Smith; four sisters, Alblene Gaines, Alicia Tinsley, Gloria Jones and Sabina Jiles; two brothers, Jimmy (Stacy) Jiles, Glendale, Arizona and Anthony Jiles, Wesley Chapel, Florida; five aunts, Cora Triplett, Bay City, Michigan, Mary (David) Berry, Bay City, Michigan, Ora Wilkins, Jr., Lavona (Robert) Davis, and Effie Tuggle, Chattanooga, Tennessee; two uncles, Laymon (Margaretta) Wilkins, Bay City, Michigan and Man (Shirley) Lewis, Jr.; godson, "Pooh"; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Luerene was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy A. Brown; father, Jessie Williams; parents who raised her, Albert and Luetisher Wilkins; grandmother, Ora L. Wilkins; her son's father, James L. Parker, Sr.; sister, Diane Campbell and brother, John Henry Spivey, Sr.
