Lucille Trapp

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Ms. Lucille Humes Trapp departed this earthly life for the kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Magnum Care Saginaw. Age 90 years. One of eleven children born on September 9, 1924 in Scott, Mississippi to the union of Hattie Baldridge Humes and Jerry Humes.
Lucille accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church currently under the leadership of Pastor Rodrick Smith where she spent many years active within the church. In May 1966 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Page Trapp. Together side by side until his end they shared 48 wonderful years. Lucille was a retiree of Saginaw General Hospital. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to celebrate her memory one daughter, Clara J. (Walter) Patterson; one stepdaughter, Mary Alice Jackson of Florida; one sister, Hattie Wadley; one grandson, Eric (Jacqueline) Patterson; one great-granddaughter, Julienne Patterson; a devoted nephew, Daren K. (Juvy) Humes; many nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends including a special caregiver, Luanda Canty.
Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Page Trapp, four sisters and five brothers.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who offered kind words, condolences and prayers.
