Leonard Daniels

Mr. Leonard Ray Daniels Sr. transcended into Heaven on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 25, 1939 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Lucille Skyes and Ernest Daniels.
Leonard relocated to Saginaw, Michigan as a small child. He attended Saginaw Public Schools. Leonard was an employee of Saginaw Grey Iron Foundry and was member of UAW Local 668. He retired after 55 years of faithful service. He married Patricia Sims in 1968. She survives him. Leonard enjoyed boxing and watching western movies, He was especially devoted to spending time with his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia Ann Daniels; his children, Leonard Ray Daniels Jr., Janice Daniels, Francine (Robert) Henson and Terry Lee (Glenda) Daniels; one stepson, Sidney Robinson; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; his mother, Lucille Currington; one brother, Lindsey Daniels; three sisters-in-law, Brenda Sims, Laura Harris and Linda Shropshire; one brother-in-law, Marcus Sims; many other relatives and friends.
Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Daniels and one son, Duane Daniels.
