Latanya Snaden (Lansing)

Ms. Latanya Snaden passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 42 years. Latanya was born October 2, 1979, in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Simial Funches and Joanne McClain.

Latanya was raised in Lansing, Michigan. She was a private person and loved deeply. Those who knew her well thought of her as a phenomenal woman.

She enjoyed playing games on her phone and as a teenager she was known to play basketball.

In 2013, Latanya made many positive changes in her life. Her family was immensely proud of her and those changes.

Latanya had many obstacles in this life, but she has her wings now and will fly high for eternity.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving longtime boyfriend, Roderigious Williams; children, Onna, Jamazio, Samojion, Jamesheonna, Jamesaga, Jakalya, and Roderigious, Jr.; father, Simial Elliott Funches; adopted parents, Debbie Snaden and Virginia Darcay-Bangora; grandparents, Margie McClain and Jhon Ben McClain; brothers, Jakkar Woods and Kenny Donald, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; aunts, Kerry Owens, LuWanda McClain, Janett McClain (Homer Jones), Dionne (Gordon) McClain-Smith, Jania McClain (Monte Civils), Carol Anthony, Dianne Herbin, Debra Hughs, and Linda Funches; uncles, James Anthony and Jevon McClain; and many other relatives and friends including special friends, Dorisha McClain, Katrina West, Sharonda Cooper, and Mikin Campbell.

Latanya was preceded in death by her son, RaLaun Williams; and mother, Joanne McClaine.
