Larry Darnell Young

Devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle, Larry Darnell Young (Levi) was called home November 4, 2010. Age 53 years. He was born March 25,1957 in Indianola, Missisippi. The oldest of seven children born to Charlie and Louise Young. Larry was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed at General Motors Corporation in Saginaw, Michigan for 28 years and retired in 2005.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Darlene Byrd-Young "Doll"; children, Nekisha Byrd, Javanese Byrd and Lago Byrd; six siblings, Mary Young (Anthony Knight), Carl Young (Retha), Richard Young, Edward Young and Kilp Young; eight grandchildren, Janay, Romellus, Marcellus, Justin, Precious, Alicia, A'donis, Emonie; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Young; son, Larry LaMarkus Byrd; sister, Peggy Young.
