L.C. Addison passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1948 in Leland, Mississippi to Demus and Amanda Addison.
L.C. was raised in Glen Allan, Mississippi and relocated to Saginaw, Michigan in 1968. He was employed by General Motors for 25 years and retired in 1990. In 1981 L.C. joined Bonnie Guillory in Holy matrimony. From this union three children were born who will forever cherish his memory, L.C. (Angie) Addison Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, Amanda Marie Addison of New York, New York and Leonard Justin Addison of Phoenix, Arizona. In 2003 L.C. married Synthia Ann Brethour. She survives him.
He leaves to mourn twin grandchildren, Xavier Nicholas and Taylor Nicole Addison; two sisters, Alma Rucker of Chicago, Illinois and Shirley Goodman of Millington, Tennessee; one brother, Louis Henry Addison Sr. of Saginaw, Michigan; due to his bond with his twin brother, D.C. Addison, he had a special love for his nieces and nephews, Angie V., Karen V. Addison-Sanders, D.C. Jr. and Steven C. Addison; one aunt, Gloria Finch; one uncles, Emmett (Carolyn) Johnson; special cousins, Diane Barnett and Gary Griffin; two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Addison, Saginaw, Michigan, Bernita Addison, Cleburne, Texas; one brother-in-law, Ernest Hayes, Chicago, Illinois; many other relatives and friends.
L.C. was preceded in death by his parents, Demus and Amanda Addison; one sister, Bertha Hayes; twin brother, D.C. Addison Sr.; brother, Fulton Addison.
