Kia Frierson

Kia Michelle Frierson, age 22 was born July 17, 1990 in Saginaw, Michigan to Keel Sr. and Michelle Frierson-Macon.
On April 25, 2013, Kia departed this life and entered eternity with her baby girl Khiyah Elizabeth Frierson. She leaves her family to remember her amazing personality which was full of love, joy and peace. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Pastor P. David Saunders. Kia graduated from Arthur Hill High School class of 2008. She was a student at the Saginaw Career Complex where she took part in the Culinary and Hospitality Management program. Kia was a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Archonette Sorority. She recently received a certificate of completion for a Pharmaceutical course from Saginaw Valley State University and was preparing to take a state board exam. She was a faithful employee of the Carriage House of Bay City where she was a Dietary Aide. Kia developed a passion for styling hair at a young age and was very gifted with her hands. She left an impressive mark on the hearts of many that shall never be forgotten.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, her mother and father, Keel Sr. and Michelle Frierson-Macon; four sisters and three brothers; Darius and Ashley Frierson, Keel Macon Jr., Imari, Ciara and Nickeel Reed, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Melina Uhrig of Germany; two nieces and two nephews, Jayda Davis, Alonzo Conley-Reed, Amari?a and Amarion Frierson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; grandparents; Dorothy Frierson and Eva Macon both of Saginaw, Michigan, Charlie B. Macon Sr. of East St. Louis, Missouri; six aunts, Beverly Frierson, Deirdre Stephenson, Yvonne and Levorn Macon, Denise and Joann Lister, all of Saginaw, Michigan; two uncles; Charlie B. Macon Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan, Mark Macon of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her godmother, Lynn Boyd of Saginaw, Michigan; special friends, Sarah Gillespie, Deshon Cook and Mrs. Nadine Anderson; many other family members and friends.
Kia was preceded in death by her grandfather Melvin Frierson; two uncles, Thomas and Maris Frierson.
