Khadijah W. Rasheed was born Regina D. Williams passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 31 years. She was born on July 2, 1986 in Oxnard, California, the daughter of Eric D. Williams and Mary Carter. Regina is the adopted daughter Mustafa and Wazirah Rasheed who named her Khadijah W. Rasheed.
Khadijah lived in California before relocating to Lansing, Michigan. While in California, she worked in public transportation. Khadijah loved to sing and do makeup. She recently earned her GED in March, of which she was very proud. Khadijah was a fun loving person who loved to coupon. She especially enjoyed being a loving mother to her daughter, Destiny.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Destiny Erin Welch; father, Eric D. Williams; adopted mother, Wazirah Rasheed; siblings, Erica Williams, Columbus, Ohio, Kianna Williams, St. Johns, Michigan, Katrina Silver, Texas, Teleia Silver, Frensco, California, Tywon Gardner, Eric Williams, Jr., Ventura, California; adopted siblings, Lovette Jackson, Arizona and Ayesha Rasheed, Nevada; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in by her paternal grandfather, Jefthrow Williams; mother, Mary Carter; and adopted father, Mustafa Rasheed.
