Keith Richardson

November 15, 1962 — January 28, 2014

Mr. Keith Vernell Richardson "Foxx" began his earthly journey in life on November 15, 1962 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Mattie B. and Lawrence V. Richardson. While surrounded by his loving family, God whispered to him come to me. He gained his eternal wings and entered the kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the age of 51 years.
Keith was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1981 graduate of Saginaw High School. Keith was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Floyd Logan. On February 14, 2003 he married the love of his life, Alesia Archibald. She survives him. Keith was an avid sports fan who loved football and basketball. You would often find him in the bleachers at a Trojans game or on the couch in front of the TV on a Sunday afternoon. Keith loved to travel and go to concerts with his wife. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his little buddy and grandson, Terril Jr. Keith was well-known for his laughter-filled 4th of July gatherings. Always a comedian and a philosopher, he could talk about anything and would often find a positive note to leave you laughing hysterically. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room. Gone but never forgotten, his smile and laughter will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Alesia Archibald-Richardson; two sons, Terril and Antoine Archibald; three grandchildren, Terril Jr., AntaNayja and ANyra Archibald; one god-daughter, Jordin Darby; his mother, Mattie B. Orr; three sisters, Carol (Artis) Golston, Elvia Mills and Joyce (Eddie V.) Jones; three brothers, William (Alma) Duke, Randall (Janie) Rivers and John (Phyllis) Sharper; nine nieces, Bonita Stevens, Carlis Jackson, Sharise (Ivan) Steele-Phillips, Remell Duke, Miranda Williams, Juanita and Toneisha Gonzales, April McKether and Yondina Jenkins; fifteen nephews, William II and Alex Duke, Frank (Vivian) Mills II, Eddie V. (Curtina) Jones II, William, James and Reginald Winters, Kenneth II and Casey McKether, Eric Rivers, James and Kendrick Archibald, Joseph Archibald-Gonzales, Reginald and Rodney Miller; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Charlene (Kenneth) McKether and Katrina Archibald; many other relatives and friends including his very special friends, David Ruffin, Jeff Adams, Emmitt Warren, Taurus McDole, Anthony Balls, Tyrone Harris, Donell Clayton and Michael Prescott.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tempie Duke and William Tate, father, Lawrence V. Richardson, one grandson, Antione Archibald Jr., mother and father-in-law, Willie and Dorothy Archibald, one brother-in-law, Frank Mills.
