Mrs. Kaleta Marie Walden was born February 4, 1987 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sentaria Johnson and Bishop Allen Monegan. She and her loving husband, Melton Gilbert Walden, Jr. of Clewiston, Florida, transitioned Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Louis County, Virginia.

Kaleta was a student in the Saginaw Public Schools District and graduated from Independence High School in Glendale, Arizona. She was an avid traveler, always wanting to explore the world and spend time with family and friends. She made it a point to communicate with Jaden and JaKarri and a priority to visit them for their birthdays. Kaleta loved the finer things in life and took pride in her jewelry.

Kaleta was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry Jr. and Doris Monegan; great-grandparents, Matthew and Mildred Jones; aunts, Niya M. Wilkes, Tiora T. Johnson; cousins, Tomico Jones and Christan Wilkes.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her parents, Sentaria (Sophia) Johnson, Bishop Allen (Sandra) Monegan; grandparents, Ladine (Leslie) Grant, Rickey (Delores) Johnson, both of Saginaw, Michigan; sisters, Diamond Denise Washington, Saginaw, Michigan, Danella Sneed, Colorado Springs, Colorado; brothers, Allen Jr. and Alexander Monegan, both of Glendale, Arizona; niece, Nehemiah Jones, Colorado Springs, Colorado; nephews, Jaden Anthony and JaKarri Josiah Washington, both of Saginaw, Michigan, Giovanni and Noah Monegan, Prince Alexander, all of Glendale, Arizona, Richard Sneed, Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunts, Latramese Jones, Atlanta, Georgia, Buqueonia Johnson, Shomiona Johnson, both of Saginaw, Michigan; uncle, Aaron Johnson, Jr., Saginaw, Michigan; special cousins, Champagne, Destiny, Sentariana, Chanell, Namesha, Janazia, ShayQuin, Zariah, Zamaya, Evanna, Emarion, Tamarie, Franky, Quincy, Onesty, Daryl, Darise, Greg, Daniel, Nathan, Davontae, Antrovonte, Anttravel, Kiowanee; many other beloved cousins, relatives and friends.
