Joyce Collier

July 11, 1946 — September 3, 2012

Joyce Ann Harris-Collier, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend made her transition from earthly labor to heavenly reward on Monday, September 3, 2012 at the age of 66 years.
Joyce was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan and attended Saginaw Public Schools. She completed one year at Delta College. Joyce became an employee of Grey Iron Foundry in 1970. As a child she accepted Christ, was baptized and became a member of Christ Community Church. In 2006, she joined Daniels Den Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Taurus A. Simpson Sr. She was a faithful member of the Mother Board. After joining this ministry, her spirituality was taken to another level. Throughout her life she received many certificates and achievements.
She leaves to cherish precious memories two daughters, Rhonda Collier, Flint, Michigan, Roxanne Collier, Saginaw, Michigan; one son, Ross Collier, Saginaw, Michigan; ten grandchildren, Anthony (Semia) Collier, Curtis Farrow, Joyce Collier, Passion Collier, Sharmese Collier, Tierra Johnson, Ross Collier Jr., Mya Smith, Chiquita Harris and LeShonda Hardman; two sisters; two sisters, LaNeil Doster, Minnie Boyd both of Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Collier and Brenda Boyd, both of Saginaw, Michigan; one aunt, Anita (Cornell) Scott, Lansing, Michigan; several nieces, nephews and cousins including special cousins, Raymond Crommatie and Jack McLaren; one special niece, Darlene Simpson; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Steve Barker, Sunobia Sims.
Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Davis; grandparents, Elijah and Minnie Middleton; two sisters, Wanda Harris, Laura Hardman; three brothers, Joseph and Arthur Boyd, DeWayne Lincoln; one aunt, Ruth Laury; three uncles, Arthur Lee Middleton, Otis Middlebrook, Will Harris; one cousin, Martrese Blagmon; a special friend, JoAnn Washington.
