Jordan Caleb Montgomery

Jordan Caleb Montgomery passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 5 years. He was born January 25, 2007 in Saginaw, Michigan to Yvette J. and Terry L. Montgomery.
Jordan was a member of Holy Communion Gospel Center Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Otis O. Washington. He was a student at M.G. Millet Learning Center. Jordan was a charismatic, loving, affectionate, bright eyed and handsome little boy. He was a strong fighter who loved to cuddle and always had a smile on his face. Jordan had star quality, was the joy of the family and he was loved by everyone. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Yvette and Terry Montgomery; grandmother, Cynthia Staples; one brother, TreVian Lamar Montgomery; four aunts, Ebony and Felicia Rutledge, KeyMia Ginyard, Donna Bailey; four great-aunts, Mary Bridgewater, who was like a mother to him, Betty Lloyd, RosaNelle Carter, Ethel Staples; ten uncles, Darrion Rutledge, James and Jordan Staples, Robert, Frank Jr., Henry, Steve, Jimmie, Earl and Roosevelt Montgomery; four great-uncles, Melde Rutledge, Vernon and Napolean Staples, Thomas Bridgewater; cousins, Khary, Jennifer, Grace and William Bridgewater, John, Jonathon, Devonn, Alexander, Cameryn, Neveah and JayVon Rutledge, Malachi Williams, Vivian McKinley, Malea Davenport, Kizzy and Andre Daniels, Tkiesha and Tamra Montgomery, Melanie, Anthony, Myla and Xeviar Hayes, Reginald, Jene, LaRonda, Destiny and Christopher Rutledge; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Tia Lawrence, Amber Taylor, Sue Hall, Genevieve Benson, Bobby and Ethel Shaw.
Jordan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marie Rutledge, Jordan Staple, Earline and Franklin Montgomery.
