John Webb

Mr. John Webb Sr. passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 75 years. He was born March 29, 1935 in Sherrill, Arkansas to George and Minnie Webb.
John confessed Christ at an early age at Sunrise Baptist Church in Sherrill, AK. He came to Saginaw, Michigan at the age of seventeen later retiring as a truck driver. After retiring he started his own lawn care service which he ran until his illness. In 2006, he married Vernita Williams, she survives him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Vernita Webb; one son, John Webb Jr.; two grandchildren, Terrance Roberson, Brittney Gardner; four brothers, George (Lena Mae) Webb Jr., Arthur (Elizabeth) Webb, Anthony (Christine) Webb, Nathaniel Webb; three sisters, Essie Antwine, Rosie (Albert) Baldwin, Ruth Ann Williams; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Gardner; sisters, Ora Lee Walker, Molester Reed and brother, Samuel Webb.
