John Henry Cooper

Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and long time companion passed away at his home on Thursday, April 22, 2010. Age 57 years. John Henry Cooper was born to Lizzie and John Cooper on December 3, 1952 in Louisville, Mississippi. He migrated to Saginaw, Michigan in 1961.
John was employed by General Motors and a member of Local 659 since 1985. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching old western movies.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, LaQuitia Cooper; two sons, John Henry Cooper, Jr. (Angelic) and Darnell Prince (Tori), all of Saginaw, MI; eleven grandchildren, LaQuavis, Lashayla, Rayshawn Cooper, William Bibbs, Jr., Jonathan Ray, Darnell Prince II, Leon III, Nea Laury, Jurnee, Saudi and Phillip Morris all of Saginaw, MI; four sisters, Patricia, Ruth, Catherine Liddell and Dorothy Cooper; three brothers, Johnny Liddell, William and Wilson Cooper all of Saginaw, MI; He will be truly missed by his lifetime companion Barbara Amos; seven sisters-in-law, Cora Liddell of Phoenix , AZ, Johnnie Mae, Wardell, Dyan, Dorothy, Sharlene, and Mary Lee Amos, all of Saginaw, MI; one aunt, Waltenne Eiland of Louisville, MS; three uncles, Raymond Triplett of Riverside, CA, William Liddell of Saginaw, MI and CJ Liddell of Chicago, IL, special nieces and a nephew, Tiffany Cooper, Romanda Kendall, April Amos and Marvin Prince Jr. all of Saginaw, MI, many other relatives and friends including special friends Emma Edwards, William Byrd, Robert Murray, Marvin and Brisco Blacksher all of Saginaw, MI.
John Henry Cooper was preceded in death by his parents John and Lizzie Cooper; step-father, Wilson Jackson; grandson, Ezaveeon Ray; sister, Sandra Cooper and brother, Walter Liddell.
