Jessica Green (Lansing)

Ms. Jessica Green passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Age 35 years. She was born October 24, 1982 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Junice Green Hawkins.

Jessica lived and worked in Lansing, Michigan. She attended Everett High School and played in the band. Jessica was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was self-employed and loved to do hair. Jessica also loved to cook, her pets and people. She was very outgoing, loved to help others. Her special joy was spending time with her family especially her daughter, Jasmine.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Jasmine Green; mother Junice Hawkins; grandmother, Jean Green; three sisters, Jonae Hawkins, Jenessa Demps and Daniala Demps; three brothers, Albert K. Demps, Justice Demps and Kent Demps; niece, Jade Wofford; aunt, Jenia Green; two uncles, Jerrell Green and Joel Green; cousins, Justin, Airs, Alvin, Catherine; many other relatives including her God-daughter, Tayaunee and friends she loved very much including special friends, Becky, Erika, Audrey, Ron, DeeDee, Trackia and Jazimn.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Edward Washington, Jr. and Edwin Washington; stepfather, David Hawkins and her friend, Kamilah Pitts.
