Janice Grant

Ms. Janice M. Grant passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare Cooper ICU in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 64 years. Janice was born December 17, 1956, in Clinton, Louisiana, the daughter of Ezekiel and Annie Grant.

Janice was baptized at an early age. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1975. She received an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice in April, 2021. Janice was a lady of many trades from being an Avon representative, to working at different local stores and restaurants. She loved shopping, cooking, and eating. Janice loved her family, and it was important to her that they all love each other and stick together. Now she is sharing that beautiful contagious smile with God and the angels in Heaven.

Janice leaves to cherish her memories her children, Takisha Grant, Derrick Grant, Angela (Marlon) Grant, Shenika (Henery Sr.) Ford; grandchildren, Mo’Nay, James, Taniya, Ja’Mari, Deqa, Shantia, Terence Jr., Michael, Jaleel, Anjunell, Henry III, Nathan, Maryah; many great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn F. (Cedric Sr.) Grant-Jackson; brothers, Chester R. (Johnnie) Grant, Robert N. Grant, Danny (Callean) Rheams; nieces, Ketrina, Kristie, and Sedricka Jackson, Shaundricka Hope; nephew, Cedric S. Jackson, Jr.; aunts, Helen Johnson, Juanita Kilbourne, Shirley Coleman, Delores Quinney; a host of cousins; and special friend, Jerry Rouster.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents Ezekiel (Annie Odom) Grant, and brother, Earl K. Grant.
