Pastor Jane Foster was born December 3, 1935 in Helena, Arkansas to James Sr. and Clara Robinson. She heeded the call of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 5, 2020 at the well-lived age of 84 years.
Pastor Foster was a wonderful homemaker. She was mommy, nurse, doctor, chef, chauffeur, teacher and so much more. She was a Christian woman that taught her children about the love of God. As a mother, she sacrificed all for her children and grandchildren. If she had it, her children had it. She even went into debt for some. There was no end to her love.
Pastor Foster treated everyone with kindness and respect and greeted all people with love. She was strong in adversity and a wise teacher and pastor who led by example. No matter what you were going through, Pastor Foster had an encouraging word for you. Patient, kind, nurturing and encouraging are just a few words to describe this virtuous woman who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves precious memories with her children, Bernetta (Kyle) Longstreth, Alaindra (L.V.) Jackson, Atwin Davis, Shelby Davis, Lecia Davis, Victor (Priscilla) Davis; forty grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pastor Foster was preceded in death by two children, Marvin Jewel Davis and Roger Keith Davis; parents, James Sr. and Clara Robinson; five brothers, Johnny, James Jr., Jessie, Joe Robinson, Jerry Davis; four sisters, Mary Flowers, Clara Lipsey, Odessa West, Theresa Robinson.
