James Parks

Mr. James F. Parks passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at Healthsource Saginaw. Age 68 years. He was born August 4, 1944 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Lee Andrew and Cornelia Parks.
James joined the United States Army in 1964 and received an honorable discharge in 1966. He relocated to Saginaw, Michigan in 1966. On October 14, 1967 he married Rose M. Gaines. He was employed by Saginaw Steering Gear and was a member of UAW Local 699. James retired in 1988 after many years of faithful service. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rose M. Parks; two sons, James F. (Catherine) Parks, Omar S. (Alla) Parks; three grandchildren, James F. Parks III, Alexandrea and Madelyn Parks; one great-grandchild, Jordynn Parks; many other relatives and friends including a special ex-daughter-in-law, Lisa Gonzales-Parks.
