Jakobe Washington

Mr. Jakobe Marcel Washington was born September 20, 2002 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Jamele Allen and Kenneshia Washington. His name was called on Sunday, July 12, 2020 and he returned home to his Heavenly Father.

Jakobe was a student of Bridgeport Public Schools before attend Covenant Academy. During the summer, he worked for the C.A.C. program and proved himself to be an asset through his dedication and hard work ethic.

Jakobe loved to sing, play video games and basketball. He had a great personality and beautiful, bright smile. He loved helping and uplifting others. He was a family man that loved his brothers and sisters and built special relationships with some cousins who were like siblings as well. Our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend will truly be missed but never forgotten.

He leaves beautiful memories with his parents, Jamele Allen and Kenneshia Washington; stepmother, Tanisha Parks; grandparents, James and Minelva Allen, Kathy Washington, Kenneth Jones, Anthony Sr. and Katherine Wilford; sisters, Shyra Allen, Myra Jones, Alira Williams, Quavonda Ezell, Jaleigha Washington, Jamie Washington; brothers, Jaylen Graves, DeArius Burt, Jamele Jr., James, Jaedon, D’Taevon Allen; stepsisters, Tanijah, D’wajanae Young; stepbrother, Robin Young, III; nephews, Deshawn Hoskins, Jr., DeAngelo Burt, Kahleel Young; aunts, Jasmine Wilford, Jessica Beeman, Destiny Wilford; uncles, Fontaine, Amondo, Jamie Allen, Terrance Washington, Anthony Wilford, Jr.; special cousins, Amondo Jr., Fontaine Jr., KaiMani, Malique, Deshawn; many cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly including special friends the Graves Family, Ezekiel Flores, Jordan Trisler and Seth Castillo.
