Jacqueline Marie Taylor (Lansing)

Jacqueline Marie Jackie Taylor peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Friday, August 7, 2015 after a 15 year battle with cancer. She was born February 4, 1961 in Monroe, Louisiana to Charlie Mae (Thelma Jean) Taylor and Edom Harris.
In 1963 the family moved from Bastrop, Louisiana to Detroit, Michigan. At a young age Jackie attended Sunday school at Christian Community Baptist Church where she became a member. Jackie was a hard worker who held multiple jobs working in Detroit to support her three children. In 1993 Jackie left Detroit, Michigan and relocated to Lansing, Michigan to continue to provide for her family. Jackie possessed a deep love for her family and friends. Her passion was volunteering her time to help others. Enjoying the simple things in life such as family gatherings, capturing precious moments via photo or video, family outings, shopping for her loved ones, especially for the grandkids, and dancing. Later on Jackie took on two beloved daughters that she loved and cared for as her own.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Terrance Taylor and Antonio (LaTreece) Taylor; one daughter, Christina (Kavoris) Blakney, beloved daughter, Chartavia Taylor; seven grandchildren, Terrance, KeAsja, JayDen, SaNiya, MaKye, Jasmine and Jeremiah; sisters, Jennifer (Samuel) Morris, Felicia Taylor, Katrina Taylor, Louisa Taylor, Donnela Dee Taylor; Brother, Ron (Monique) Taylor; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlie Mae (Thelma Jean) Taylor, father, Edom Harris, beloved daughter, Artavia Taylor, grandfather; Lonnie Taylor Sr. and aunt; Veronica Faye Taylor
