Mother Jacquelin Faye Pietryga went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the age of 69 years. She was born February 12, 1945 in Standish, Michigan to Siau Jack Long and Bernice R. Long.
Jackie was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a faithful member of Christ Kingdom Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Edward Jackson where she served on the Mothers Board. Jackie had a great love for her Savior Jesus Christ. She was very passionate about spreading the word that He will be coming soon. Jackie received her license in cosmetology and provided services to family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, crafts, sewing and painting. Jackie loved to read lots of books. She was an avid speller and her favorite games were Wheel of Fortune, Scrabble and Lingo. Jackie was a nature lover who enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching and animals. She loved her dog and faithful companion Sadie. Gone but never forgotten, her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Lisa (Everett) Linton and Paula (Andy) Murray; two sons, Steven (Christina) Pietryga and Jason (Stacy) Pietryga; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Aaron, Ryan, Faith, Austin and Emily Pietryga, Andrew Saladine; three sisters, Carolyn Hartwig, Lori Lopez and Bobbi Mullins; one brother, Rick Long; many other relatives and friends.
Jacquelin was preceded in death by her parents, Siau Jack and Bernice R. Long.
The family would like to give special thanks to Erica Anquetil-Myers for all your hard work and dedication for assisting in our loved ones care over the years, Apostle Edward and Mattie Jackson for all the guidance and prayers, Celia Hill for your continuous presence and love, JaCharri Hughes, Kendra Lewis and Kinante Foster for always being there no matter what the cost, George and Angela Parkes for your unfailing love and prayers, the entire Christ Kingdom Ministries family for embracing Mother Jackie as your own and for all the prayers and support throughout the years. It meant more than you will ever know. A very special thank you to everyone who offered support, words of encouragement, condolences and love.
