Heriberto Garcia Lopez (Lansing)

Heriberto (Eddie) Garcia Lopez, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in Lansing Michigan. Age 29 years. He was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1994, to Marcelo Garcia Cruz and Florida Lopez Nuñez in Oaxaca Mexico.

The family moved to Michigan in 2004. Heriberto attended Dwight Rich Middle School and Sexton High School. He later went on to become a construction worker. He enjoyed biking, kayaking, basketball, wrestling, and loved art and painting. He also had a compassion for animals. Heriberto enjoyed lending a hand to others and most importantly he loved spending time with his family.

He had a contagious smile and laugh that would light up any room and encourage the smile on any face around him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Florida Lopez Nuñez and Marcelo Garcia Cruz; sister, Lucila Garcia Lopez; Yigitcan Eken who was like a brother. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Heriberto is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arturo Lopez Nuñez and Gumercinda Nuñez Nuñez.
