Mr. Freddie Lee Blackmon passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his residence Age 64 years. He was born June 8, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to Oscar and Leola Blackmon.

Freddie received his education from Saginaw Public Schools. He worked 30 years and retired from General Motors Grey Iron Foundry. Freddie was a member of UAW Local 668. He attended several churches in Saginaw, fellowshipping with Rosehill Baptist Church often. He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and attending many family events. Freddie was very family-oriented. He loved to eat and would often ask, “What did you cook?” knowing that someone was cooking something somewhere. Freddie was very comical and would always lead a conversation by saying something funny. He will be missed by all those who loved him dearly.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his two daughters, Ebony (Ben) Kindle, Sequilla Young; two sons, Christopher (Valerie) Finley, Chancellor Blackmon; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; father, Oscar Blackmon; two sisters, Wavonne Halbert, Linda Harris; three brothers, Brandon (Jessica) Blackmon, Ricky (Callandra) Blackson, Oscar Deparas; five nieces, Aretha Blackmon, Gloria Phillips, Vontwell Collins, Shavonne Harris, and LaShawn (Michael) Winters; four nephews, Emerson Beverly, Anthony Beverly, Depre Blackmon, Andre (Rolandia) Harris; four aunts, Yvonne Macon, Roberta Macon, Shirley Macon, Louise Macon; one uncle, Charles Jones; many, many cousins; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Arthur Lee Flinnon, John Flinnon, James Bonner, and James Young.

Freddie was preceded in death by his mother, Leola Blackmon; two sons, Freddrick Young, Freddie Young; three uncles, Tommy Blackmon, Clarence Macon, and Sam Shedrick.
