Francine Hummel passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at St. Marys Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 48 years. She was born March 3, 1969 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to William Hummel, Sr. and Joanne Hummel Cox.
Francine was raised in Saginaw, Michigan and she attended Douglas McArthur High School in Saginaw Township. She accepted the Lord as Savior at an early age and was affiliated with St. Paul Lutheran Church. Francine loved to travel, do crossword puzzles, and play Pac Man. She was 420 friendly always and included shopping, going out to eat, cooking, baking, and especially her interests in arts and crafts as her favorite pastime. Francine loved being around her family and friends, but most of all, her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her significant other, Charles Thompson, Saginaw, Michigan; one daughter, Amber Ford; one son, Joshua Hummel; fifteen step-children and those who called her Mom, Kenneth Williams, Taneka Williams, Shyrock, Sin, Jmac, Stephen, Eric, Charlie, Mayme Williams, Clarence, Erika, and Treyon; three grandchildren, Treyon Fayson, DeMarion Fayson, and Juilya Hummel; step-mother, Audrey Hummel; three sisters, Michelle Wilkins, Penny Johnson, and Holley Welch; two brothers, Billy Hummel, Jr., and Delmar Hummel; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws; many other relatives and friends; special friends, Nichole Estacio, Tosha Ezell, Arnita Mueller, Mary, Ron, Richard Brooks, and Stanley Perkins.
Francine was preceded in death by her parents, Joanne Hummel Cox and William Hummel, Sr., one sister, Teresa Hummel, and her infant son.
The family would like to express special thanks to Aunt Nancy and Uncle Johnny for helping us out in our time of need. We also appreciate all the help weve received from other family and friends. Thank you so very much.
