Ms. Evelyn Millege passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 89 years. She was born August 31, 1924 in Decatur, Illinois to Charlie T. Bond Sr. and Levirtha Bond.
Evelyn was a member of New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was employed at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center for many years working in the Dietary Department. Evelyn enjoyed games shows and western movies.
She leaves to cherish her beloved memory one daughter, Versina Ann Millege Kemp; her grandchildren, Emmanuel J. and Versina Anese Kemp, Elrico Jr., Viesha B. and Verica E. Thompson; great-grandchildren, RaQuavis, Roland, DeNasia and DeNiya Turner, Heaven, DeSharion and Laylah Kemp; three sisters, Fannie Bond and Guster Latson, both of Decatur, Illinois, Mazetta Maxwell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Betty Millege of Saginaw, Michigan and Matilda Humprey of Beaumont, Texas; many other relatives and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie T. Bond Sr. and Levirtha Bond, her siblings, Charlie T. Bond Jr., Robert, Edgar, Eldred and Lester Bond, Gebratha Perry, Laura and Virgie Bond.
