Evelyn Collins

Ms. Evelyn Collins passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare Cooper ER. Age 85 years. She was born December 25, 1935, in Clearwater, Florida to Ellen and Benjamin Collins.

Ms. Collins was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She previously resided in Clearwater, Florida where she attended public schools and graduated from high school. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. During her time in Clearwater, Ms. Collins was employed by a Laundromat. She provided for her family and was an exceptional mom and grandmother to her kids. She will be missed by family and friends who loved her dearly, especially Angelica and Evelyn.

She leaves loving memories with daughters, Evelyn Ellen Collins who was named after her, and Angelica Reed Smith; grandchildren, Ernest Brown, Pearlita, Paris, Randy Jennings, Corey Collins, Anthony Jumper, Deavian, Brandon, Alayna, and Devin Smith; great-grandchildren, Briena, Brielle, Paris, CJ, Justin, Anthony Jr., and Abrielle; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including special friend, Dorothy Kelly.

Ms. Collins was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen, many other relatives and friends including Willie Reed, and Ben and Lola Collins.
