Estelle Warren (Lansing)

July 5, 1941 — June 8, 2018

Mrs. Estelle Warren went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2018, at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 76 years. Estelle was born to John and Bessie Oliver in Hernando, Mississippi on July 5, 1941, the second oldest of twelve girls.

A child of God with dignity, elegance, courage, strength, and grace. Theodore Warren and Estelle Oliver was united in holy matrimony on October 17, 1960, of this union, six children, were guided to adulthood. Estelle was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Christ Temple Church under the leadership of the Late Bishop William Warren. Estelle was a Prayer Warrior, Vice Missionary Chairman, Prayer Band, Sunday School Teacher, Health Professional, Sick and Shut-In, Baptism and Tarrying Committee, Hospitality Chairman, Usher Board, and Foster Parent. With her beautiful smile, soft voice, compassion for others, she fulfilled her purpose. Her hobbies were collecting frogs and flowers to create a beautiful garden for her home. During the Holiday Season, she was famous for her sweet potato pies and cakes.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband,Theodore Warren of 57 years; five daughters, Linda Warren, Sandra Warren-Anderson, Felicia Warren, Colette Warren, and Chimera Flowers (Jecaro) all of Lansing, Michigan; one son, Deon Warren (Shellie) of Lansing, Michigan; four foster children, Brian Jones, Beverly, Patricia and Theodore Coates; seventeen grandchildren, Michael Allen,Ty’rell Warren-Burnett, Amirah Allen-Warren, Bre’Nona Brown, RaShawn Anderson, RaShawna Anderson, Deon Warren Jr., Ny’Kita Smith, Ar’ ZJon Horton, Ky’ Yon Warren, Da’Vaughn Warren, Isaiah Kenney, Carmen Flowers, Savannah Flowers, and Shavonne Warren; three great grandchildren, Aw’Bre Branner, Elijah, and A’mari Anderson; eight sisters, Ruby Barnett, Johnnie Lewis, Betty Hill, Bobbie Oliver, and Deborah Oliver, all of Lansing, Michigan, Mary Bullocks (Arthur Lee Bullocks), and Charlotte Roper of Benton Harbor, Michigan, and Patricia Oliver of Arizona; special friends Marvella Jones, Pearlie Johnson, and Curtis Lewis, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sister Estelle is preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Oliver, three sisters Florine Johnson, Annie and Carolyn Oliver, two grandchildren Jovan Allen, and D’Sheill Warren, and one great grandchild Sa’Phari Jackson.
