April 1, 1932 — May 11, 2012

Mrs. Earlene Pruitt (Bay Sista) on Friday, May 11, 2012 , God put his arms around Earlene and took her home. Age 80 years. She was born April 1, 1932 in Panola, Alabama to Robert Lewis and Annie Mae Hill. She accepted Christ at an early age.
She married Jamie Lee Pruitt in 1948 and moved to Saginaw in 1950. Earlene was employed with Illnois Shade Company. She joined and was an active member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the Gospel and Mass Choir until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Betty Daily, Shirley (Rev. Larry) Camel, Joyce ( Wendell) Smith and Pauline Pruitt; a niece whom she raised from young age, Minister Lorraine (Hubert) Brown all of Saginaw; five grandchildren, Unceld Daily, Atlanta, GA., Beyonca (Mac) Carruth, LaTongela Daily, Jasmine Camel and CoCo Moore all of Saginaw; two sisters, Mattie (Pertis) Harper, Saginaw, Annie Wells, Chicago,IL.; four brothers, Ernest (Zoann) Hill, Odie (Mary) Hill, Lou (Vera) Hill and Willie Hill all of Chicago,IL; a special niece, Rosemary Ruth; a special friend, Lee Nickerson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Earlene was predeceased by her parents, husband of 60 years, Jamie Lee Pruitt, two sisters, Ora D. Hill and most recently Rosie McConnell; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Lewis (Janice) .
