Duane Richardson Sr.

On Monday, April 27, 2015 Duane Richardson Sr. peacefully made his transition into the Kingdom of Heaven at the age 61 years. He was born January 5, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to Percy and Laura Richardson.
Duane was a graduate of Saginaw High School class of 1972. He was previously employed at Webber Middle School, Saginaw News and Saginaw Steering Gear. He was also a member of UAW Local 699. Duane was an avid sports fan who coached hockey, basketball and football teams. He was a former bass player for the Bowen Gospel Singers. In his spare time Duane enjoyed playing golf, bowling and cooking. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to celebrate his legacy his devoted wife, Beverly Richardson; four daughters, Trameka (Will) Rodgers, Tiffany Richardson, Epris (Lawrence) Harris-Burnett and Imani Richardson; five sons, Duane Richardson Jr., Damion Richardson, Terrance Richardson, Jason Richardson and Tristan Richardson; twenty-three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Laura Richardson; one sister, Joyce Lewis; three brothers, LC (Mary) Richardson, Leroy Richardson and RC Richardson; many other relatives and friends.
Duane was preceded in death by his father, Percy Richardson, two brothers, Myron and James Richardson and a close friend, Dave Young.
