Mrs. Dorothy Patricia Henry was born May 4, 1939 in Guyana, South America to Joseph Lim and Rosa Cornelius. She passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at the age of 81 years.
Dorothy immigrated to the United States in 1993 and lived in Saginaw, Michigan for twenty-seven years. She was a member of St. John Episcopal Church and visited First Presbyterian Church from time to time. She was employed as a home care worker and enjoyed cooking and baking her special Caribbean dishes.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Mann; parents, Joseph Lim and Rosa Cornelius.
She is survived by her husband, Ivor Henry; three sisters; four brothers; many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends, including special friends Mr. and Mrs. David Stine and Mr. and Mrs. William Miles.
The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Covenant Healthcare, all the doctors, nurses and homecare nurses who took care of Dorothy during her illness, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
