Dorothy Mason was born April 20, 1943 in Metcalf, Mississippi. She resided in Saginaw, Michigan for most of her life. Dorothy was a graduate of Saginaw High School and Saginaw Business Institute. She attended Delta College for two years. She worked as a Ward Clerk for 32 years and a Surgical Tech until her retirement from St. Mary’s Hospital.
Dorothy was affectionately known as “Dot” by friends and family. She loved, loved, loved, reading and spending time with family.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Edward A. (Carla) Mason, Saginaw, Michigan, Dwyane (Tonya) Mason, Lansing, Michigan; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Aaron J. McKissick; two brothers, TW Mason and Willie Mason “Boot”; several nieces, nephews, and many friends, including special friend, Elizabeth Hudspeth.
Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Mason; parents Hattie Mae and Aron Williams; and Willie Mason.
