Donnie Caddell (Lansing)

Reverend Donnie Earl Caddell went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 51 years. He lost the fight to COVID-19. He was born in Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama the son of Joe Nathan Nevins and Patricia Ann Caddell Williams on March 3, 1969.

Reverend Caddell attended Central High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He relocated to Lansing, Michigan where he worked many years for Dean Trailways Bus Services. Reverend Caddell was a faithful member of Friendship House of Prayer Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Patricia Ann (Curtis) Williams, Jackson, Michigan; grandmother, Easter Lee Bishop, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; 3 sisters, Reverend Agnes (John) McBeth, Brooklyn, New York, Carolyn (David) McDaniels, Peel City, Alabama and Tracy Witherspoon, Jackson, Michigan; brother, Henry (Melissa) Witherspoon, Jr., Zephyrhills, Florida; 8 aunts, 3 uncles, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends including his Friendship House of Prayer Baptist Church Family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Nathan Nevins and grandparents, Tommie Lee Caddell, Willie C. and Sylvia Nevins.
