Devia Famecka Bady passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. Age 33 years. She was born June 2, 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan to Shirley Hughes and Famous Adams.
Devia was brilliant and overflowing with charisma, charm and excitement, she had a bubbling, witty personality. She was very gentle and docile, yet outgoing and ambitious. She had a creative ability to design and coordinate colors, making a house a home. Devia received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and was employed as a Social Worker at Reeton Corrections Facility in Jacksonville, Florida. A very devoted wife and mother, she loved her family. She was a member of Agape Faith Fellowship.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Vincent Eugene Bady; three children, Savannah V. Bady, Izayah V. Bady, Jeremaiyah V. Bady; parents, Shirley Hughes, Famous Adams; five sisters, Fierra Hughes, Shavonya Hughes-Charlton, Sheree Reeves, Renee Jones, Yolonda Jones; four brothers, Antwan, Famous, Ronnie, Jeffrey; grandmother, Juanita Boles; aunts, Barbara (Alan) Bates, Diane Boles, uncles, Horace Washington, Robert Boles, Anthony Boles, L.C. Adams, Curtis Adams; godmother, Martha Weatherspoon, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Janique Garnett, LaKeisha Parker, LaKeisha Nelson and Sherie Ray.
Devia was preceded in death by her daughter, Bracston Juanita Grace Bady.
