Delphine Cooper

July 25, 1958 — January 8, 2016

Ms. Delphine Cooper passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 57 years. She was born July 25, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to Mitt W. and Lessie M. Cooper.
Delphine was known as the miracle baby. She lived life to the fullest, never allowing her illness to stop her from enjoying life. Delphine attended Saginaw High School and was employed by Saginaw Public Schools. She was born and raised in Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a former member of Galilee Baptist Church. However, at the end of her journey, she became member of Kingdom Life Ministries where she loved the pastor, Bishop Alvernis Johnson, and the congregation. Delphine loved her church, people, singing, bingo and traveling. She was a very giving person. She loved singing and praising God. Delphine sang with the Sunbeams and Junior Voices of Bethlehem and Unity Chorale, to name a few. She also sang in concert in John P. Kee and was on the Bobby Jones Show. Delphine loved sharing her life experiences. Delphine will be missed, but we know she wouldnt trade Gods peace for anything.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter and two sons, Jermain. Beatrice and Kevius Cooper; grandchildren, Kevius Cooper Jr., Cierra Guevara-Cooper, Angel Cooper and Jaexeon Chisolm; three sisters, Vanessa Cooper, Kathleen Dottery and Claudette Young; one brother, Mitt W. Cooper, Jr.; nine nieces including special nieces and best friends, Evette and Gloria Janel Wiley; eight nephews, five aunts, two uncles; a host of cousins; five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, many other relatives and friends including special friend, Joanne Seawood.
She was preceded in death by longtime companion, James Wiley, parents, Mitt W. and Lessie M. Cooper, and brother, James Cooper.

The family would like to express special thanks to Bishop Alvernis Johnson and the entire staff at Kingdom Life Ministry, the Wiley family, and friends for their support and encouraging words, and a very special thank you to Kala Mike.
