Danielle Therese Nick (Lansing)

Ms. Danielle Therese Nick made her transition from this life into eternity on Monday, September 13, 2021, in Lansing, Michigan, with her father, Robert, by her side along with siblings, Rashawn, Robert, Tiffany, Larissa, and Briana, niece, Niya, and Aunt, Gloria. Danielle was 38 years old and was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 30, 1983, the second daughter of six children to her parents, Robert Nick and Theresa Jo Gonzales.

Danielle was a life-long resident of Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. After graduation, she began a career in Human Resources which she genuinely enjoyed. At her time of death, she was employed as Human Resources Coordinator at ASAP Staffing LLC in Lansing.

Danielle was fierce and feisty and if you knew her, you always knew where she stood. She loved to help people which is why she chose a career in Human Resources, but her greatest passion was spending time with the loves of her life, her two boys, James and Princeton. She also enjoyed music and hanging out with her family and friends. She was a member of Antioch Church in Lansing, where the Senior Pastor is Edward Thomas, and First Lady Crystal Thomas.

Danielle leaves to cherish her memory her sons, James Hodge and Princeton Nick; father, Robert (Daphne) Nick; sisters, Rashawn Gonzales, Tiffany (Kris) Green, Larissa Gonzales, Briana Gonzales; brother, Robert Levon Nick; grandmother, Lucia Gonzales; niece, Niya Douglas; 8 aunts, one uncle, and many, many cousins and second cousins too numerous to mention, other relatives and friends.

Danielle is preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Jo Gonzales; grandparents, Hattie Flournoy and Ray Charles Nick, Sr., and grandfather, Rojelio “Rocky” Gonzales.
