Corine Fuse

Ms. Corine Fuse passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Ascension St Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 84 years. She was born September 19, 1937, in Aberdeen, Mississippi to Tom Bigbee and Effie Lee Adams.

Corine was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Dine Street High School, Aberdeen, Mississippi. She was a member of Beacon of Hope Church. Corine was known for wearing the best hats in the church. She loved attending the Police and Firefighter Balls in the 1960’s, sewing, fishing, gardening, and giving those warm caring hugs.

She leaves to cherish her memories two children, Astrida (David) Dada, Tualation, Oregon, Gerald Fuse, Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Sherwayne Watson, Los Angeles, California, Markisha Fuse, Saginaw, Michigan, Johanna (Gary) Jackson, Columbus, Ohio, Calvin M Williams, III, Tualatin, Oregon, great-grandchildren, Makazhia McGowan, Makaya Lowery, Daijah Jackson, and Desmond Jackson; many nieces, and nephews.

Awaiting Corine at Heaven’s gates with outstretched arms will be daughter, Regina M. Walker, son, Harold Fuse, parents, Effie Lee Adams, and Tom Bigbee, sisters, Virginia Cunningham-McBeth, and S.L Cunningham-Davis, brothers, Tommy Lee Bigbee, and Jimmie B. Cunningham.

The family wishes to express special thanks to our family and friends, the medical staff at Ascension St Mary’s, and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, for your kind expressions of concern and heartfelt sympathy during our time of bereavement.
