Mr. Clyde Finch passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at his residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 71 years. Clyde was born March 15, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan to Lady Bee Fisher and Lenon Finch.
Clyde graduated from Oscoda High School, Class of 1969. He was multi-talented. Clyde loved working with his hands, and he loved fixing things. There wasn’t anything Clyde could not repair from TVs and cars to microwave ovens. One his favorite pastimes was singing, and boy could he sing! Clyde’s nickname was “Silky Smooth,” and he was a “charmer.” Clyde was loved by his family, and his sweet, loving caretaker, Shirley Patterson. He will be greatly missed.
Clyde leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters, Lashonda Finch, Tanesha Finch (Silas) Clayton, Shawtina Finch; two sons, Derronnie Finch and Chouncey Finch; grandchildren, Kiera and Londyn Clayton, Jasya Joel, Winter, Joseph, Roger, Knowledge, and King Coates; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Eugene Sr.) Garner, and Patricia Tinsley; five nieces, Alicia Scott, Leslie Garner, Ebony Porter, Tish Tinsley, and Lavenia (Melvin) Tinsley; two nephews, Deljandre Finch and Eugene Garner Jr.; three aunts, Rosie Lee Franklin, Bessie Mae Brown, and Mary Lee Williams; one uncle, Moses Fisher; cousins, Eddie Jean Landrum-Wright, Debra Ann (Dock) Williams-Underwood, Ennies Foster, LaShone Lawson, Vonnie Williams, Rosetta Smith, Marcella Moore, and the Coleman family; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Shirley Patterson.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Lenon Finch, and Lady Bee Fisher, and one daughter, Ashantai Finch.
