Charles Richard Sutton

Mr. Charles “Chucky” Richard Sutton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at his residence. Age 47 years. Charles was born October 3, 1973, to the late Mrs. Betty Jean Antwine in Saginaw, Michigan.

Charles accepted Christ at an early age at Bethlehem Temple Church. He attended Saginaw Public Schools until they relocated to Cocoa, Florida. Most of Charles’ life he lived in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2014 he relocated back to Saginaw, Michigan. Charles enjoyed playing dominos and watching sports on television. His favorite sayings were “thank you” and “I love you.”

Charles leaves to cherish his memories one sister, Gloria Ann King, Hinesville, Georgia; two nieces and one nephew, Tiara King and Shelton King of Houston, Texas, and Katavia Howton, Hinesville, Georgia; twelve aunts and uncles, Carrie (Willie) Whitley, Mary (Charles) Helton, Thelma (Robert) Harrison, Clara (James) Blackmon, James (Debra) Sutton, Aggie (Evelyn) Sutton, Mary Sutton, Rosa Sutton, Jessie Avery, Ruby Winston, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Anna Sutton, Cleveland, Ohio, Rose Conover and David Conover, Lakewood, New Jersey; many cousins and friends; his caregivers, Jessica, Derinda, Ben Coleman, and A&D Home Health Care.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Atwine, and grandparents, Joe and Rosa Sutton.

We give special thanks to his aunt, Mary Helton, and cousin, Charneka McClaine for all that they did for Charles.
