Charles Edwards

Mr. Charles Edwards C-Bay passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at his residence. Age 64 years. He was born July 29, 1949 in Itta Bena, Mississippi to Herman and Salena Edwards.
Charles relocated to Saginaw, Michigan at an early age. He attended Saginaw Public Schools. Charles worked at various restaurants during his life. He enjoyed helping others, cooking and cleaning. Charles loved spending time with friends and family. Gone but not forgotten, his presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers, Walter Edwards of Flint, Michigan, Ernest and Howard Edwards, both of Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters-in-law, Ada Edwards of Flint, Michigan, Joyce Edwards of Jackson, Michigan; one god-daughter, Nanette Steele; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Hattie Bell, Hattie and Bobby Steele, Kay Chester, Davis and Emma Lee, Willie and Tina Bond, LH and Davita Lee, Gladys Humes, MC and Vivian Tarkington, Minnie Boyd and Laura Turner.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Salena Edwards, one brother, Brown Lee Edwards.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the Janes Street Academic Health Center and Pharmacy, the Roosevelt Ruffin Community Health Center, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
