Carnel Busch (Lansing)

Mr. Carnel Tyrone Busch passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 71 years. He was born February 17, 1948 in Sumpter County, Alabama, the son of Frank Bush, Sr. and Annie Mae Bush.

Carnel was born the tenth of thirteen children and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He moved to Lansing at the age of seventeen years of age. He took joy in spending time with family and friends, whether at special events or spontaneously visiting. After thirty years of employment, Carnel retired from General Motors. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be remembered as a protector and father figure by all.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Nichole and Ariel Busch; sister, Barnette; brothers Frank, Jr., Thomas and Benjamin; grandchildren, Jasmine, Malik, Jade, Jessica, Felicia, Adorien, Tanaja, Jessie, Jr., Destiny, Mya, Ashley, Cam'ron and an unborn grandchild who will be showered with his memories and love. Carnel also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews to hold his memories dear to their hearts. The family would like to acknowledge close friend, Adan “AJ” Valdez, who Carnel revered as his only true friend.

Carnel was preceded in death by his parents,Frank, Sr. and Annie Mae Bush; son, Jessie Altman; sisters, Annie Pearl, Mary and Jean; brothers, Luradan, Leonard, Willie Lee, Eddie and Clint; and ex-wives and life-long friends, Beverly Busch and Roberta Busch.
